Can you tell I was Soooo Bored that day?

I was with my family visiting some friends in San Mateo (in the middle of Nooowhere), they were chatting inside the house, there was No TV nothing, fortunately I had my first digital camera, an Epson 1.2 megapixels and yes, I was Happy playing with my camera!.

Shot 13 images handheld in portrait mode then merged the photos in Photovista software to create this 360° panorama.

Hollywood Bowl Panoramiqueado

Hace años, para ser exactos el domingo 13 de Junio del 2004, andaba echando un rol con unos amigos que tenia pocos meses de haber llegado del DeFe, dimos un rol por varios lados de la ciudad y terminamos la tarde en el Hollywood Bowl tomando fotos, en aquel ayer estaba obsesionado y me la pasaba tomando fotos panoramicas, todo lo que veía le tomaba fotos pensando en armar un panorma con un software chidísimo (el cual ya no existe, aunque ahora hay otras versiones similares para crear panoramas).



Pasamos la tarde super chido en la platica, esa tarde llegué a mi casa a jugar y logré esta panorámica del Hollywood Bowl, años más tarde, osea hoy, revisando archivos me encontré esa foto y la he agregado a mi set de panorámas que tengo en Flickr, echense un clavado aquí: http://www.flickr.com/…210990210/ y si tienen ganas me dejan un rayón.

March for the Immigrants Rights

On May 1st 08, I was off a plane from NY to Long Beach, slept couple of hrs, recharged my batteries and headed to downtown LA early in the morning where thousands of people were marching for the Immigrants Rights.



We walked from McArthur Park to LA City Hall, it was a hot but memorable day, here are some of the photographs I took that day, some in digital some in film using my fisheye2 camera.

It's almost 2:00 am and I'm still Flickring, I became a Flickr addict since the past few weeks, if you haven't use flickr you don't know what you're missing, there are tons of great images, I try to upload at least one or two photographs to my photostream a day, I spend hours admiring others photographer's work.

- Last december went with my friends on a very cool trip to Sedon Arizona, that morning woke up around 5 am to get a few shots of the sun rising, we set the cameras and waited, a few feet from our spot we saw this coyote waiting as if he was about to hunt, in seconds switched to my 200mm lens and fire this shot.

Later I opened the image in lighroom and enhanced some of the colors.

Granos de Café

El año pasado me invitaron a participar en un proyecto para la nueva imagen de Cafeinaporfavor.com un portal dedicado al café. Invitaron a varios artistas plásticos, pintores, diseñadores gráficos, escultores, fotógrafos entre otros.



Cada uno envió su material, hice tres propuestas de fotografía y las tres quedaron seleccionadas, formando parte de las 20 imagenes oficiales que servirian para promocionar el café.

Fancy Workstation

Still at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel Lobby, ran out of power and asked if I can plug my laptop for couple of minutes while a burn some CDs to give to my client.



While the images are being proccesed took this shot with my cell and my portable wide angle lens so you can have a better view of what I'm actually seeing.

La Venegas triunfó en el Nokia Live Theater

Julieta Venegas, aunque no llenó esta noche el Nokia Live Theater fue ovacionada, el público permaneció de pie desde la mitad del show hasta el final de su presentación.



La Venegas se entregó y quedo comprometida con su publico angelino que regresará pronto.



Su presentación fue un éxito, ¡en horabuena!



"Muchisimas gracias por esta noche Los Angeles, hasta pronto"

Selfportrait using a wide angle lens on my cell

I'm still transfering files to my laptop from the assigment I had.



While I'm waiting I took a selfportrait using my cellphone also positioning my new wide angle lens. I bought one to be used in my video camera and it fits right in front of my cellphone camera lens. It's pretty neat!



Now I'll be shooting wide angle shoots with my cellphone camera.

Teatro para Niños

El Nuevo Centro Teatral de Los Angeles (The New LATC) invitó al Distrito Escolar Unificado de Los Ángeles (LAUSD), a una presentación de titeres, la obra se llama: Chanek 'El Guerrero Maya', la obra se estará todo el fin de semana.



Los chicos se divirtieron y conocieron acerca de la creación de los titeres, la obra esta acompañada con música creada con instrumentos utilizados en la cultura Maya.

I never heard of this place before, we are now celebrating Tony"s birthday at Benihanas, it's a Japanese Restaurant here In Ontario, we are in a half square table and the chef I'd cooking right in front of us...
